This lesson is both the least and most important I shall teach. It is the most important because it could save a life. It is the least important because it is so very shallow and I wish it didn’t need to be taught. But as is often the case in life, your parents have failed you miserably.
You’re beautiful. Each and every single one of you. You are beautiful.
Do you know who makes fashion magazines? Ya know, those magazines you agonize over, dreading the walk to the mirror after noticing the perfect teeth or the blemish free skin or the perfectly round and perky breasts on the cover model.
Women make them. Women and gay men.
I am a heterosexual man with years of experience in the dating field.
I can assure you that the perfect truth is that for every single woman there is in this world, there are a thousand men who would lie cheat and steal for a chance to be with her.
The vast majority of men are attracted to women of all types. There is no perfect body. Big, small, short, tall, black, white, red and brown. We love you all.
The upper crust of society has decided that a certain image will help sell certain products. This is not your concern. You are not a product. You are a human being.
You are a heart and a soul and a brain and a body filled with hopes and dreams and interesting personality quirks.
I could go on and on and on about this but I can really sum up everything I am trying to say with one small statement.
If there was a man(and there are many) who would judge you based solely on your looks, a part of you which is easily near the bottom of the list in overall importance, is that really the sort of man you are worried about impressing?
Who do you want? The guy in the Tap Out T-shirt with the big biceps covered in tribal tattoos who stares at your tits and wants to bang you after the nickelback concert so he can tell his bros about it
or the quiet guy who sits next to you in math class and notices you have several Explosions in the Sky T-Shirts and asks which album is your favorite, not because he is trying to fuck you but because he is interested in knowing you.
When you find the guy (or girl) who wants to know you, who ends up loving you. It won’t be due to your waist size or your cup size. It will be all of you.
Who constantly bitch about racism, feminism, white privilege etc etc.
99% of you are upper middle class 19 year olds who have just had their first year of college (paid for by mommy and daddy) and suddenly you think your blog is going to save the world.
Shut the fuck up.
Your preaching on and on about great social injustices and the evils of the white man and his oppressive nature is doing nothing but annoying or amusing a few people on the internet.
Don’t try to tell me I am a racist white man who has been oppressing women and minorities for ages when you’re probably typing it on your mac computer your CEO daddy bought you.
I will kick you in your stupid fucking cunt you big mouthed bitch.
Fuck off. Get a life. Shut your god damn mouth and do something.
Isn’t it funny how the republican party is constantly talking about the government having too much control over the people yet they are the ones constantly campaigning to take away all of our basic civil rights? The government should not have a single word to say about religion, marriage, sexuality, reproduction, or anything else that affects only the individual making the choice. That is truly “big government” to me. America isn’t going to collapse if we allow women the right to make their own choices or allow people to marry whomever they want. Land of the Free? Doesnt fucking sound like it.
Sure, it is easy to say allowing woman equal rights was a great idea and in theory it was. Certainly we can all agree that women deserve all the same rights as men but does that really mean that giving them those rights was the proper thing to do?
One needs only to look to the struggling economy and the rise of crime statistics in order to make the argument that we messed up somewhere along the line.
A woman is an invaluable resource to her family and her country, when utilized properly. A womans proper place is in the home.
After countless hours of research I have come to the conclusion that todays troubled youth can be blamed on the lack of a mother figure in the home. While mom is out working to earn a living, the kids are left at home to fend for themselves. Without the proper upbringing these children grow into unruly and impolite brats at best and lawless thugs at worst. Children need their mothers love and devotion. Children need their mothers attention to keep from growing into a pattern of self-destructive attention seeking behavior.
As far as the economy is concerned, it is really common sense. If women were banned from the workplace or relegated to more womanly duties such as secretary work, waitressing, or housekeeping services then there would be plenty of jobs to go around for all the men of the country, which would decimate the unemployment rate and relieve businesses of the burden of paying for it. A work force full of confident and assertive men would surely lead our country back to its full potential.
I’m all for sexual liberation and the idea that anyone in the world can have sex with anyone they want to, but I am also of the belief that being able to do something isn’t a reason to do it.
Any woman can sleep with any man if she so desires.
Any man can sleep with any woman if he so desires.
Having sex for the pure pleasurable satisfaction is not something which would cause me to look down on a person.
However, I have done it. I have been there. I have slept with numerous individuals whom I had no emotional attachment to whatsoever.
And to be honest, after awhile it all begins to feel hollow and wrong.
In the moments before and during the act nothing is on your mind but how deliciously satisfying the act itself is but once you’ve achieved orgasm that lust and desire disappears and you’re left with nothing but a shallow stranger occupying the spot next to you in your bed.
So while it may disagree with your progressive feminist ideals the plain truth is that to many of us, “slutty” behavior feels a bit shameful.
You can have sex with anyone whom you desire, but do it because you want to. Don’t do it to be liked, don’t do it to win someones attention, don’t do it to fit in.
If you take part in shameful acts there is no one to blame but yourself.
